Japan has become a super-aged society, with the elderly population exceeding 25%. As people age, the incidence of motor diseases increases, which increases social security costs and the burden on caregivers and physical therapists. I am aiming to research and develop technologies to support people with motor diseases and systems to teach exercise. I am conducting a wide range of researches from basic researches on human motor mechanisms to applied researches on the development of assistive technologies.
